The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) has published a report that shows that most students who have been to college believe their college course played an important role in getting a job. 62% of past college students now in work said their course was either vital or helpful in gaining a job after college.
Of those still seeking work, 64% believed their college course improved their chances of finding a job. College courses were also seen by many to boost chances of promotion and job security.
